This web site provides information about the Scottish Justices Association (SJA) which succeeded the District Courts Association (DCA) on 11 May 2007.
The first Justice of the Peace courts have now replaced District Courts in the Sheriffdom of Lothian and Borders. Grampian Highlands and Islands courts will follow in June 2008. The Scottish Courts Service web site gives more information about this.
